The gift shop at Living Coasts is open to the public all year round and offers an extensive range of souvenirs, Fair trade products, unique gifts, homeware, jewellery, educational toys, and, of course, cuddly penguins!


Quality ceramics, glassware, pottery, and ornaments for the house or garden can be found in Tradewinds colonial-style gift shop. You'll find handmade items of exceptional beauty from countries such as Nepal, India, Morocco, Bali and Ecuador.

Ethical gifts
Tradewinds Gift Shop has one of Devon's largest ranges of Fair trade products. Wherever possible, our products are sourced from sustainable, environmentally-friendly, suppliers. We support organizations such as Fair trade and Shared Earth and support small artisan producers in the developing world.

Toys for young explorers
Tradewinds has a range of educational toys for children from the Natural History Museum and the Science Museum. With our special range of discovery toys, you can become a bug collector, worm farmer, rockpool explorer, or dinosaur hunter! We also have a huge range of soft toys - from giant cuddly penguins to furry seals, sharks, and polar bears.

Fashion & Jewellery
In our colonial bazaar, you'll find a range of colourful patchwork handbags, Fair trade pashminas, scarfs, wraps, genuine panama hats, and lots more. We also carry a large range of very fine handmade jewellery from artisan designers.

Homeware
Cushions, throws, vases, framed pictures, ornaments for the home and garden, rugs, and many unique items for your home. Our homeware ranges are sourced from all around the world.

Books & Souvenirs
We have a range of high quality books about animals, the natural world, and conservation as well as a selection of unique Living Coasts products which make perfect gifts for family and friends of any age.
