How to find us

Living Coasts is situated in Beacon Quay right on Torquay's harbourside and is very easy to find - just look out for the big net above the Town Dock on the outer harbour.

By car:
Living Coasts is situated on Torquay Harbourside on Beacon Quay, Torquay. Once in Torquay follow the A379 and the 'penguin' on the brown tourist signs. Living Coasts does not have its own car park, but there is a small council car park next to us (Beacon Quay) and, if this is full, ample public car parking in Torquay. Please note: the nearest car park with no height restriction is the Meadfoot Road car park. For more information about the Fleet Walk Shopping Centre Car Park please call 01803 200508.

Torbay Coundil is repeating the car parking promotion that ran earlier this year: every weekend in December shoppers will be able to park in council car parks for one pound for the whole weekend! From 6pm on Friday until 10am on Monday you will be able to buy one ticket for £1 and take it to any car park displaying this scheme.

By train:
The nearest stations are Torquay and Paignton. Onward travel will be by bus.

By bus:
Stagecoach and First Western National run bus services to The Strand in Torquay which is only a few minutes walk from Living Coasts. Visitors travelling by bus are entitled to a 10% discount on production of a valid bus ticket (not valid with any other discounted offer). Dial a Bus run a service to Living Coasts (service number 60/61).

By boat:
Paignton Pleasure Cruises run a service from Paignton direct to Beacon Quay. For further information please telephone 01803 529147. Stuart Line Cruises run boat trips to and from Exmouth Quay, for further information please telephone 01395 222144. Western Lady Ferry Service run a Penguin Explorer service from New Pier, Brixham that includes entry to Living Coasts, please call their booking line on 01803 852041.
