Living Coasts’ graphic adventure

The story is called Suckers...! A Cooper Cousteau Adventure. It stars ocean explorer Cooper Cousteau and has an octopus theme to tie in with Living Coasts’ new Octopus Odyssey exhibit. It is described as an exciting adventure with an environmental message. As well as the adventure story the comic contains trails, games, facts and jokes.
Living Coasts Marketing Manager Stuart Wright, who wrote and drew the comic, said: “It’s for ages 4 to 14 and is free to all children visiting Living Coasts while stocks last. They can use it when they are at Living Coasts and enjoy it afterwards, too.
Stuart, who has an honours degree in Fine Art, has produced the comic as part of the Marine Myths and Legends season at Living Coasts. Marine Myths and Legends explores the world of mythical beings in story sessions, games and craft workshops. There’s a Trackin’ the Kraken trail and the chance to design a mythical creature.
In addition, visitors will be able to meet Cooper Cousteau in person on site at Living Coasts at various times.
