Volunteering
Although our volunteers don't have direct contact with the animals, they help support an extensive range of activities and projects which contribute directly to Living Coasts and our conservation work.
Typical volunteer activities include:
- customer interaction
- event activities
- food preparation
- fundraising
- helping with school groups
- office admin
- research

In return . . .
. . . you will be provided with a uniform, invited to social events for staff and volunteers and have the satisfaction of helping a local conservation charity.

Please decide which role/s you are interested in (read the Volunteer Roles above for more information), how many hours and on which days you can commit time (nearly all of the activities cover a 7 day rota) and download, complete and return the interest form:

Please note:
All volunteers must be aged 16 years or over.
Due to the volume of interest we receive you will only be contacted if you are short listed. If shortlisted you will be invited to come in for an informal discussion on volunteering at Living Coasts.
