Discuss the future of the oceans, ownership and management techniques. Learn about the work of the Marine Conservation Society, the Governments planned Marine Bill and the proposal of UK Marine Reserves.
Can include: Marine conservation quiz, where would you put a Marine Reserve challenge or who owns the oceans debate.
Animal Care
See how Living Coasts aims to be one of the countries top animal attractions. Learn how we balance care for the animals and a quality visitor experience. Find out how the Keepers manage the animals including; feeding, breeding, health, mixed exhibits and enrichment. Discover some of the problems the keepers deal with daily and the solutions they apply. See the successes of Living Coasts and conduct a SWOT analysis of the site. Look at Living Coasts as if you were Head keeper, what would you change?

Take a look at how Living Coasts established itself as visitor attraction within Torbay and how we continue to develop as one of the Bay’s leading tourist attractions. See how we market Living Coasts, conduct a SWOT analysis and take a closer look at market segmentation, promotional methods, marketing mix, visitor surveys, events and fundraising.
