Our Wildlife Education Cruise, Coastal Explorers package, and Investigating Seashores package, are all suitable for KS1 students.

Wildlife Education Cruise
Living Coasts Wildlife Cruise is a joint package with Paignton Pleasure Cruises. The group can have a self guided tour of Living Coasts then after lunch enjoy an hour long wildlife cruise within Torbay looking at the local seabirds and other marine wildlife. On occasions you may be fortunate enough to see grey seals and or dolphins. There will be commentary aboard the cruise and the strictest safety procedures will be followed. All trips are tide and weather permitting.
There is an additional charge for the boat trip of £4 for each child and £5 for each adult.

Coastal Explorers
‘Coastal explorers’ is an educational package designed to encourage learning through play. Can include: Playful Penguin puppet show, Investigation station and Mangrove Mischief from July 2008.

Investigating Seashores
This package based on local shores looks at habitats, adaptation and tides in a fun stimulating way. It covers how animals cope with life on the edge and how we should care for them. Can include: Seashore Safari, Tide role play and Limpet Cling On Wall on site. If you would like to go off site your group can take part in a Rockpool Ramble or Seashore Survey.
