If it wasn't bad enough sharing our beach with 6 Macaroni penguins, we now have to share it with 20! (Click on the title title to read more)

Yes indeed, a few weeks ago the rest of the noisy Macaroni penguins who used to live on the other side of the zoo were moved onto our beach and are taking over, with no respect for us!

They have their own new rocky beach to hang out on, but they spend all their time on our beach and hardly visit it at all. It's not so bad, because whilst they're sunning themselves on the sand we are slowly hatching a plan to take over their rocky shore and make it our own. We spend more time on there than they do anyway, and it's got lots of little pebbles on it that slide around so it's fun to chase them.

The Macaronis had to move to our beach because there are now some new South American Fur Seals living in their old home. I hear that seals enjoy eating penguins so I'm not surprised they moved, I suppose it will just take a bit of time until we are all good neighbours and then become good friends like on that Australian TV show.
