Penguin Beach

Habitat
Penguin Beach has been designed to look very like coastal habitats near Cape Town in South Africa where African penguins live in large colonies. At Living Coasts, you can get an insight into how these amazing animals live in the natural world. The penguins are all free roaming and often explore the visitor boardwalks using their very own "penguin crossing". Juvenille Macaroni penguins and some sea ducks also live on Penguin Beach as well as a variety of unusual plants.
